Married with two children. Born on September 18, 1961, and residing in Rome. Degree in Law in 1987 – Registered with the Bar Association as a practicing attorney. From May 1988 to 1992: at INTERSIND in the trade union service as a managerial official; in this role, he participated in the renewal of collective labor agreements for 11 categories. From October 1992 to January 1995: worked at the Italian Association of Confectionery Industries responsible for the ice cream sector. In July 2001, appointed Vice Director of the AIDI and subsequently promoted to General Director. Since January 1, 2011, confirmed as General Director of AIDEPI, resulting from the merger between AIDI and UNIPI (Italian Pasta Industrialists Association). Since January 1, 2019, reconfirmed as General Director of the Italian Food Union resulting from the merger between AIDEPI and AIIPA. In 1998, participated in the establishment of the ALIFOND National Pension Fund (Supplementary Capitalization Pension Fund for workers in the Food Industry) and became its President in 2006. From 2011 to 2019 – Dedicated to the reorganization of the food industry representation leading to the establishment of AIDEPI and subsequently the Italian Food Union as a result of the merger of several associations. In 2023 – Promoted, together with Confagricoltura, the establishment of the first national supply chain association, Mediterranea, with the aim of promoting the development of an agri-food supply chain and fostering a culture of Mediterranean food quality interpreted through the excellence of the food processing industry.
